CROSS WALK 2026
Join us on Good Friday, April 3rd, for our annual Cross Walk. You and your group will meet at the church at your chosen time, and the walk should take about two hours. If you are new to The Crossing, Cross Walk is a tradition where groups take turns carrying a cross from the church to Interstate 20 along FM 1187. It’s a small way to try and get an idea of what our Savior felt on the way to His crucifixion. While one person carries the cross, others walk behind, praying for those driving by and for our community.
We have two crosses, and groups will head out every hour. You can sign up as a group or individually. The walk goes from the church to I-20 and back along 1187. If you like, bring a towel or a small pillow to make carrying the cross easier on your shoulder.
