Matt Bennett has served as a worship pastor and leader since 2012 and joined The Crossing in January 2021. His heart in worship is to help people encounter Jesus through music, Scripture, and prayer.
Matt and his wife, Ashley, have four children—Abigail, Roeh, and twin boys, Thaddeus and Josiah. When he’s not at church, you’ll usually find Matt watching sports (especially the Detroit Lions), coaching his kids, out on a run, or outside with his family looking for birds. He’s also the author of A Birder’s Devotional: Backyard Edition and host of the Bird and the Word podcast.
Some of his favorite things include the Detroit Lions, The Office, coaching his kids, and spending time outdoors.
