Nathan Morris
Youth Pastor
Nathan became the Youth Pastor at The Crossing on August 1, 2016. His primary focus with The Crossing Youth Ministry is spiritual development. Nathan is responsible for all preaching, teaching, and Biblical education for all The Crossing Youth. Nathan has served in churches in Alexandria, VA, Weatherford, TX, and Vernon, TX.
Nathan has had the opportunity to lead and serve in youth, college, and worship ministries during his tenure of ministry. Nathan is a graduate of Azle High School and has attended Wayland Baptist University and Louisiana Baptist University.
While Nathan was a student at Azle High School, he and a friend formed a wrestling ministry called E.C.W. (Extreme Christian Wrestling). There were over 40 people involved in E.C.W., and within three years, they saw over 200 people put their faith in Christ. Or, as Nathan has put it, "We would beat the snot out of each other and tell people about Jesus."
Nathan has been married to his beautiful wife, Ashley, since 2007. Nathan and Ashley have three boys, Noah who was born in 2011, Caleb who was born in 2014 and Ethan, who was born in 2017. Ashley is a teacher at Lil' Cats Preschool at The Crossing.
In his spare time, Nathan enjoys sports and playing music. He is also a Hot Wing Aficionado and enjoys the occasional hot food challenge. His favorite T.V. shows are Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, and The Office.
